Barrier Face Masks

£16.99 (4 pack)+p&p

Responsible Usage

The Centre for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) reccommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., supermarkets and pharmacies). CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and to help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. These cloth barrier face masks are not surgical masks.  Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.

Face masks should be used in conjunction with frequent hand washing to slow the spread of coronavirus

Cloth face masks should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Wash your barrier face mask regularly in the washing machine at 60 degrees.

Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing the face mask and wash hands immediately after removing.

Social distancing rules should always be adhered to, even when wearing a face mask.

Cloth face masks do not provide 100% protection against droplets of bodily fluids entering your nose, mouth, ears and eyes. Nor do they provide 100% protection to those around you if you cough, sneeze or spit. Please use this product and any similar product responsibly and in conjunction with social distancing and frequent hand washing.

Application to face

Before application, thoroughly wash your hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds

Fasten the elastic loops around your ears, so the mask covers your mouth and nose

Pull the top of the face mask upwards and the bottom downwards to get a better coverage (see picture)

When removing the face mask, be very careful not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Wash your hands after touching the used face mask, and every time you touch it after taking it off until it is properly washed at 60 degrees Celsius in the washing machine
